Born & raised in Fairfax, VA, Allison is well versed in all things Northern VA & DC. She grew up as a Navy brat and started her adult career working for a non-profit military organization before beginning Allison Barnes Events in 2011. 
Her attention to detail & calming demeanor are must haves in this industry. You'll never see her crack under pressure & rest assured that her problem solving skills are always creative and on point! 
She loves a classic & timeless style but is always up for clients who want more bold and out of the box details & color palettes.

Hi, I’m Brittany! I worked my first wedding with Allison Barnes Events in 2015 when I was a junior in high school. Over the past years, I have had the privilege of being a part of countless beautiful weddings for some pretty amazing couples. My favorite part of any wedding day is watching all of the design elements come together to create a gorgeous and memorable space for our couples to gather with their loved ones and celebrate.

Most little girls grow up dreaming about their perfect wedding, but I grew up dreaming of planning them. A hopeless romantic and a lover of love stories, helping couples start their happily ever after is my real life dream job!

I started my journey in the wedding industry as an unpaid teenage intern for a Myrtle Beach wedding planner. Since then, I have dipped my toes in almost every aspect of the wedding world. I’ve worked as a catering/event manager, freelance photographer, and now as a planner for Allison Barnes Events since 2018!

Hi! My name is Jillian, though most call me Jill. I graduated from Indiana University of PA with degrees in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management with Special Events, which gave me a kickstart into this industry. My love of weddings stemmed from attending many family weddings growing up, and I am ecstatic to have turned that love into a career. My favorite part of the wedding day is the quiet moment before sending the bride (or groom) down the aisle! I hope I can experience that with you!

I grew up in Fairfax, Virginia and I currently reside with my husband and our three daughters in Alexandria, VA.
After attending JMU and graduate school at Johns Hopkins, I worked as a pediatric dietitian at Children’s National Medical Center for adolescents with HIV/AIDS. Once I had kids, I decided to stay home with them, which opened the opportunity to work with Allison.
Allison has been one of my best friends since middle school and now I've been working for Allison for 10+ years. While I'm mostly involved in the behind the scenes operations, I still love the hustle and bustle of the wedding day. My favorite part of the wedding is watching the bride walk down the aisle and the first dance.
